BEMER refers to medical devices that use electromagnetic signals to help strengthen a patient’s organs, muscles, and immune system.
The BEMER machine (Bio-Electro-Magnetic-Energy-Regulation) helps ensure the cells function as they should and do not lead to abnormalities. It improves microcirculation, the blood flow to the smallest blood vessels. This is responsible for the transport of oxygen to and from tissues, pressure regulation and thermoregulation, mainly for the skin.
BEMER therapy is different from magnetic field therapy. The technology and science behind BEMER were developed by German doctor Rainer Klopp. He was head of the Berlin Institute of Microcirculation. Dr. Klopp specifically developed BEMER signal patterns that lead to a “significant increase in the vasomotion of microvessels, arteriovenous pO2 difference, number of open capillaries, arteriolar and venular flow volume, and flow rate of red blood cells.”
BEMER Therapy Benefits
Regular BEMER treatment sessions help improve blood circulation. Poor circulation can make people vulnerable to health issues because the body has difficulty absorbing the nutrients it needs.
It targets the body at a cellular level, so cells are adequately supported. BEMER therapy improves restricted blood flow through micro-vessels, thereby assisting the body’s own regenerative and self-healing processes.
In doing so, this scientifically proven and effective procedure supports the supply and waste disposal processes in tissue and organ cells. Electromagnetic fields are used to transmit special stimulation signals into the body.
BEMER therapy can also increase oxygen saturation, which is vital to overall and long-term health. Cancer cells thrive in such oxygen-depleted environments. Improved oxygenation is a good way to fortify healthy cells and weaken cancer cells.
BEMER is used in managing various health conditions and is especially important for detoxification of the entire body.
One study found that the use of the BEMER machine on patients with chronic low back pain helped reduce pain and fatigue in the short term (ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4452849/). Long-term therapy with the BEMER appeared to be beneficial for those with osteoarthritis of the knee.
It can help manage other conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, torn ligaments, bone fractures, sprain, and rheumatism. Among diabetics with polyneuropathy, a study demonstrated that a course of BEMER therapy helped significantly reduce sores.
The BEMER machine can also be used as an “alleviating measure” to minimize the risk of infection and improve mental performance. In addition, it reduces the adverse impact of stress and burnout by supporting microvascular blood flow. This, in turn, allows the body to perform at an optimum level.
Among athletes and physically active people, BEMER therapy and EWOT can help improve sporting performance. It does this by reducing the risk of injuries, expedite healing and rehabilitation, and consequently, minimize training downtime.
